PRESS RELEASE IN KINGSPORT TIMES NEWS

Amis Mill Eatery to offer catering at historic downtown Rogersville location

ROGERSVILLE - Two of Rogersville's historic dining venues are merging to
form a unique catering opportunity for anything from small private parties
to huge banquets.
Sweet Tooth Cafe, 116 E. Main Street, Rogersville, is located in historic
downtown Rogersville's Powel House which was originally a two story hotel
dating back to 1850s. The Rogersville Board of Mayor and Aldermen met there
from 1860 until a new city hall was built on Washington Street in the early
1930s.
Amis Mill Eatery is located on the historic Thomas Amis settlement which
dates back to the 1770s.
Their partnership will form the new Amis Mill's Sweet Tooth Catering.
The Sweet Tooth Cafe has suspended daily restaurant services. The new Amis
Mill's Sweet Tooth Catering will focus exclusively on catering, offering
Sweet Tooth's popular chicken salad, desserts and other specialty items by
reservation.
Amis Mill Eatery owner and operator Jake Jacobs said, "The combination of
Thomas Amis Historic Site and Amis Mill Eatery with the Historic 1850's
Powel House site in downtown Rogersville where Sweet Tooth Cafe is located
will provide an unprecedented choice of historic venues for events, business
meetings, parties, reunions, banquets, receptions and weddings.
Amis Mill's Sweet Tooth Catering will also be open for special downtown
Rogersville events such as Cruise In, Heritage Days, etc.
Jo Anderson and Warren Quinn are available to help you with planning any
event from Private Candlelight Gourmet Dinners to massive Company BBQ's.
